Dulce Zambrano
Founding partner
Dulce opened the firm so Dallas families would have a lawyer who explains every paper before it's filed.
She grew up in Pleasant Grove, in a house where the kitchen table was where the family sorted out its letters from immigration. She worked at a nonprofit legal clinic and then at a larger firm before starting Zambrano & Kwon with Brenna. She still takes every new family-case consultation herself.

How Dulce prepares a family case
Dulce asks for the boring documents first: the leases, the old tax returns, the letter from a school. A family case is believed or doubted on details like those, and it's easier to find a missing one in week one than the night before an interview.
Then she writes the plan on one page, in the language you prefer: what she'll file, in what order, what it costs and what could go wrong.

She sees new families Monday to Saturday, in the office or by video.
